The V1000-4X
is a version of the standard V1000 in an integral enclosure that meets NEMA type 4X/12 indoor use requirements, UL type 4X/12
standards, and the IP66 rating of IEC 529. This enclosure provides the protection required in tough washdown or dust-tight
environments, common in Food and Beverage Processing, Packaging, Metal Machining, Woodworking, Pumping, Refrigeration, and
Printing.

ACS550 Standard Drives
ABB ACS550 is an adjustable frequency AC drive that achieves the ultimate in flexible motor control
performance. Offering three modes of motor control: V/Hz, Sensorless Vector and Flux Vector, ABB ACS550 performs accurate speed
and torque control of any standard squirrel cage motor.
With drives ranging from 1.0 to 500 HP (0.75 to 355 kW), ABB ACS550 series features an 'intuitively obvious'
multi-lingual, full graphic display panel that also provides assistance to aid users in start-up, maintenance, and diagnostics.
The control panel can be mounted on the cover of the drive, or remotely, and can upload, store, and download parameters.

FlashDrop technology for fast configuration, new control panel assistants, and hardware upgrades are among a
number of enhancements to ABB standard drives. The enhancements are based on feedback from customers and are designed to make the
ACS550 drives even easier to commission and use.

FlashDrop is a powerful palm sized tool for fast and easy parameter selecting and setting. It gives the
possibility to hide selected parameters to protect the machine. Only the parameters needed in the application are shown. The
tool can copy parameters between two drives or between a PC and a drive. All the above can be done without a power connection to
the drive - in fact, it is not even necessary to unpack the drive.
FlashDrop is compatible with ACS 150,
ACS 310, ACS 355 and ACS550
products.

DrivePM
DrivePM (Drive Parameter Manager) is a tool developed to create, edit and copy parameter sets for FlashDrop.
For each parameter/group the user has a possibility to hide it, which means that the drive user does not see the parameter/group
at all.

Encoder Module
As a new option, the enhanced standard drives can accommodate an encoder module. Using an encoder for speed
feedback is a straightforward way to increase motor control accuracy in many applications.
An assistant control panel is supplied with the drives as standard to guide users through the programming
process. Now parameter setting with the panel is even more straightforward, as a new assistant menu structure presents the
various options in a clearer format. Five new assistants further improve the control panel functionality.
