A backlight provides even, low-intensity light. It is placed behind the target and aimed directly back towards the camera. The resulting silhouette can be inspected for proper size and shape.

Linear array lights provide high-intensity illumination of large areas, at long distances. Available in 3 housings: nickel-plated aluminum (IP68), stainless steel (IP68) and black anodized aluminum (IP50).

An area light provides even illumination in a concentrated area. Well-placed area lights can create shadows and glare, allowing the vision sensor to detect the presence or absence of a feature.

• Avoids glare of reflective surfaces when directed at an angle away from lens

On-axis vision lighting provides even, diffused illumination for flat, reflective surfaces. A beam splitter directs the light rays along the same axis as the camera lens. Reflective surfaces perpendicular to the camera appear bright. Surfaces at an angle to the camera and non-reflective surfaces appear dark.

A ring light provides diffused illumination over a small area. With the lens axis through the center opening of the ring light assembly, the ring light illuminates the area directly in front of the camera.

• Centers the light on the image

Available in 50 mm flat profile or dome housings. These robust indicators are available in audible, segmented and daylight visible options.

• CL50 general purpose column light large self-contained indicators use long-lasting LEDs to provide highly visible multi-color indication in a single segment.
• K50 beacon light for areas where high brightness is needed with viewing from all directions.
• Flat pack mounting allows the DC-operated K50FL indicators to be mounted on any flat surface.
• K80 call light provides operational status indication for personnel, and is ideal in locations where access to power is limited or unavailable.
• K80L DC-operated sensor emulator indicators with polycarbonate base and 50 mm translucent polycarbonate dome.
• EZ-LIGHT traffic lights are preassembled indicators for signaling and traffic control, available with one, two, or three indicators.

• The K30 is a rugged, miniaturized, and easy-to-install pick-to-light solution to aid in error-proofing and lean manufacturing.
• K50 Pick-to-Light EZ-LIGHT is compact, single-point devices for error-proofing of bin-picking operations. Rated to IP69K depending on installation.
• K50L is three-color indicator light with an independent push button contact that can function without any power to the device or electrical circuits for control.
• K80 Pick-to-Light EZ-LIGHT is compact, single-point devices for error-proofing of bin-picking operations
• PVA Pick-to-Lights is two-component light screen for part-pick verification
• PVD Pick-to-Lights is one-piece light sensor for part assembly and error proofing
