Datasensor Sensors

The SR21 series DATALOGIC AUTOMATION slot sensors with 2 mm slot width, are characterised by a high 12 bit (4096 steps) resolution, a low 20 µs response time and a switching frequency reaching 25 kHz. The setting of the switching threshold is carried-out automatically by simply pressing a push-button.

CONTRINEX Fork Thru-Beam Sensors Distributors
Fork

Contrinex photoelectric fork sensors are available in various sizes, and consequently suitable for a large range of applications. They feature a robust, compact and universally mountable housing. They work according to the principle of through beam sensors, replacing them whereever long operating distances are not required. Their advantage, compared to solutions with separate emitter and receiver, lies in their simple installation. Only one component has to be installed, there is no need for mechanical alignment, and the wiring is less demanding.

These devices are suitable for the whole field of assembly technology. The sensors are available with clocked or non-clocked light. Their features differ with respect to response time and ambient light limit. The very short response time permits safe detection at high target speeds, even of small parts. All devices are equipped with sensitivity adjustment.

CONTRINEX Thru-Beam Frame Switches Distributors
Frame

Contrinex photoelectric frame sensors are available in various sizes, and consequently suitable for a large range of applications. They work according to the principle of through-beam sensors. A considerable number of emitters and receivers respectively are located on opposite sides of the frame, so as to cover the whole passage with a light curtain. The devices are used for the detection of small free-moving parts, e.g. for finished parts at the outlet of stamping machines or presses. They feature very robust, compact and universally mountable housings.

The devices can be switched between two operating modes, dynamic and static. In the former, only those parts that move through the active zone at a certain minimum speed are detected, whereas those that are permanently within the active zone, or that move slowly, are not. On the other hand, when in the static operating mode, all parts in the active zone, whether moving or not, are detected. Consequently, the length measurement of parts moving at a known speed through the active zone is possible. In addition, slowly falling perforated parts do not give rise to multiple pulses.

CONTRINEX Thru-Beam Ring Switches Distributors
Ring

Contrinex Through-Beam Ring Switches are available in three different sizes, and consequently suitable for a large range of applications. They feature a very robust, compact and universally mountable housing. They are used mainly in assembly technology for material-flow monitoring of small parts, such as screws, springs, plastic parts, etc, in transparent feeder tubes. The devices consist of an amplifier and a connectable sensing head, which contains several through-beam sensors. Consequently, small metallic and non-metallic parts from Ø 1 mm can be detected.

The sensing heads can be combined with dynamically or statically operating amplifiers. The advantage of the dynamic operating principle is that it does not require re-adjusting when the feeder tube is soiled or scratched. On the other hand, static amplifiers also detect non-moving parts, i.e. can for instance be used for monitoring jams. All amplifiers are equipped with sensitivity setting and adjustable pulse stretching.
