Construction

• Formed and spot welded from 16 or 14 gauge steel depending on size.
• Flat steel covers fastened with plated steel screws.
• Keyhole slots permit cover to be lifted off without removing screws entirely.
• Easily removed knockouts on all 4 sides (see drawings for sizes and locations).
• Through holes in back for wall mounting.
• Grounding location embossed in body.

Hammond Manufacturing 1447S Single Door Disconnect Enclosures are designed to house flange-mounted variable depth operating mechanism for Disconnect Switches and Circuit Breakers.

Hammond 1447S Disconnect Enclosure door and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in ANSI/ASA 61 gray recoatable powder coating on the outside. Hammond 1447S Single Door Disconnect Enclosure's and its panel interior is finished in white powder coating. All universal series Hammond Disconnect Enclosures require one adapter kit (ordered separately) to adapt the type of disconnect and mechanism to be used. Each brand and type requires a different adapter kit. Each kit contains an adapter plate and master door interlocking mechanism.
