RY/RM Series

The RY/RM series of relays satisfy applications for lower level switching needs such as pilot lights or logic level devices. The RY has standard gold plated contacts to prevent contact oxidation from affecting circuit continuity, while optional Palladium alloy bifurcated contacts reduce contact bounce and allow circuit switching in the micro-amp range.

Terminated with a standard footprint of blade plug-in terminals or with PCB pins, the RY/RM series fit into many competitors' sockets as well. Available in 4PDT or two different arrangements of DPDT: the RM2 uses the same socket as the RY4, but the RY2 is a true two pole relay that occupies half the width of the four pole. Available options include manual check buttons, LED indicators, or top flanged dust covers for direct surface mounting.

When switching an inductive load, arcing causes carbides to form on the contacts, resulting in increased contact resistance. In consideration of contact reliability, contact life, and noise suppression, use of a surge absorbing circuit is recommended. Note that the release time of the load becomes slightly longer. Check the operation using the actual load. Incorrect use of a contact protection circuit will adversely affect switching characteristics.

Surge absorbing elements on AC relays with RC or DC relays with diode are provided to absorb the back electromotive force generated by the coil. When the relay is subject to an excessive external surge voltage, the surge absorbing element may be damaged. Add another surge absorbing provision to the relay to prevent damage.

Releco Relays

The CIM1, CIM12, CIM13, CIM14 are compact and multifunctional timer relays with 9 functions and 7 time intervals from 50 ms to 60 hours. This relays are suitable for applications as step-on-step-off relays, staircase lighting relays and as multifunction timer relays. They were developed for a voltage range of UC 24-240V and they are able to switch nominal current up to 16 A at a nominal voltage of 240 V. Solid-state outputs for 1.2 A,

SymCom Monitors

The Unique Microcontroller-Based voltage and phase-sensing circuit constantly monitors the three-phase voltages to detect harmful power line conditions. When a harmful condition is detected, the MotorSaver's output relay is deactivated after a specified trip delay. The output relay reactivates after power line conditions return to an acceptable level for a specified amount of time (Restart Delay). The trip delay prevents nuisance tripping
