For over two decades, NK Technologies has remained the premier manufacturer of Current Sensors and Transducers serving the factory and industrial automation markets.
With one of the broadest product portfolios in the industry, NK Technologies provides reliable, innovative current sensing products designed to add value and exceed our customers' expectations.
Current Transducers are designed to provide an analog current reading for monitoring, data logging and panel meter applications, these current transducers offer a choice of 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC or 4-20mA average responding or True RMS outputs. Self-powered and split-core options make these a cost-effective choice as a PLC input in motor status applications or where VFDs are involved.

Split-core or solid-core case current transformers & agency approved.
5 A or 0–333 mV secondary outputs & 5 A secondary ratios available from 50 A to 3000 A and higher on NK Technologies current transformers.
NK Technologies' ADC series signal converters use sensor outputs (4-20 mA, 0-5 and 0-10 VDC) and convert these to digital RS485 outputs.
DIN rail mounting makes installation a snap & industry standard outputs.
The CTC series accept either 5 A secondary current from current transformers or 0.333 VAC secondary voltage from our ProteCT series sensors and convert them to 4–20 mA loop-powered output for use with PLCs, panel meters or data loggers.
AC Current Indicators
The AMPFlasher ACI Series Current Indicator is a compact, inexpensive, easy-to-use LED ring which slips onto a conductor to give a flashing indication of current flow.
5/16" ID suitable for conductors up to 100 A & low sensitivity turn-on point detects current as low as 0.5 A with a single conductor pass.
High visibility flashing LED gives visual status & compact 1" case with cable tie for secure mounting.
The AMPFlasher is ideal for use in control panels, or wherever confirmation of current flow is desired.
The AMPFlasher current indicators are a cost-effective way to detect live conductors and see current flow to fans, heaters, pumps, lighting or other powered devices.
PBR PowerBASE Series are industrial-grade relays in a specially designed package.
DIN Rail Kits provide a convenient method to facilitate the mounting of the AGL, VTR, APT, and APMR Series of NK Technologies' sensors.
Sensicast Wireless Transceivers offer a cost-effective way to connect sensors or KW meters where output wiring is a challenge.
NK Technologies' Parent Company was a System Integrator. Neilsen Kuljian began automating industrial sites in Silicon Valley in 1982. An early NK Technologies project required close control of AC motors and electric resistance heaters. A thorough search found that there were no products available that could accurately monitor these loads. So NK Technologies engineers developed a unique self-contained current operated switch. Word of this NK Technologies Current Switches invention quickly spread throughout the control engineering community. Orders began coming in from System Integrators and NK Technology distributors across the country and around the world.
In 1986 the Board of Directors decided that Neilsen Kuljian should focus on developing innovative, current sensors and power monitoring products. This decision led to tremendous growth, which, in turn, led to a flood of new products Current Transformers, Current Switches, Current Transducers, Ground Fault Sensors, Power Monitors, Voltage Transformers, and Voltage Transducers. In the late 1990's, the NK Technologies division was formed to meet the overwhelming demand for new products and services from Industrial Integrators, distributors and End users. A network of Neilsen Kuljian Manufactures Representatives and Authorized NK Technologies distributor brings technical expertise and quick product delivery around the world.
Neilsen Kuljian ATR transducers use a mathematical algorithm called "True RMS," which integrates the actual waveform over time. Select Neilsen Kuljian ATR transducers for nonlinear loads or in "noisy" power environments. ATR transducers from NK Technologies combine a current transformer and a True RMS signal conditioner into a single package. NK ATR Current Transducers are available in a solid or split core case. AT Current Transducers from NK Technologies combine a current transformer and signal conditioner into a single package. The AT Series NK Current Transducer has jumper selected current input ranges and industry standard 4 to 20mA, 0 to 5VDC or 0 to 10VDC outputs. AT/ATR 3 and 4 transducers from NK Technologies combine a high capacity current transformer and a signal conditioner into a single package. The ATR version of NK Technology Current Transducer is True RMS for use on distorted waveforms found in VFD or SCR outputs. DT Current Transducers from NK Technologies combine a Hall effect sensor and signal conditioner into a single package. The DT Series Current Transducer has jumper selectable current input ranges and industry standard 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-3VDC, 0-5VDC or 0-10VDC outputs.
