The 3 colors of the R G B LEDs are optimally selected according to the color combination. With the LX-100's Mark mode, the built-in "Automatic optimal LED selection function" automatically selects the LED for the largest contrast (S / N ratio) between the mark and base (non-mark area) to ensure optimal sensing. For more stable detection, the sensor makes selections according to the contrast and not according to the reflected light variation between the mark and base (non-mark area).
The LX-100 series of digital color mark sensors utilizes 3 LED elements (Red, Green, and Blue) offering high precision sensing of any color marking. A four digit digital display allows for user-friendly setting and monitoring of sensor settings. Six easy-to-see indicators surround the main display allowing quick and easy confirmation of the operating mode.
Also, the threshold value can be conveniently checked at the touch of a button. One-level, two-level and fully automatic teaching methods are available with an option of external teaching if the sensor is not easily accessible.

The LX-100 series has two detection modes:
- Mark Mode
The sensor automatically selects the most effective LED color for the application that is presented. With a fast response time of 45 microseconds, this mode is best suited for high speed manufacturing lines.
- Color Mode
For high precision color mark detection, all three LEDs are utilized to distinguish between colors that are difficult with conventional single LED sensors. The built-in 12-bit A/D converter enables high precision 1/4000 resolution judgments.

The Router enables controlled and secure data exchange between "switched" Ethernet networks (IP routing). The various manifestations of the Network Address Translation function (1:1 NAT, masquerading, virtual mapping, port and IP forwarding) provide controlled access to both sub-networks as well as individual Ethernet devices. In addition, the 1:1 NAT function allows machine networks with the same IP address range to be easily integrated
Mini-Max™ Magnets shall surface mount with glue, double-stick tape (provided) or stainless steel screw (included). The R1075 and R1125 contacts are designed specifically for applications where space is limited. The short length of the "Stubby" R1125 contact makes it ideal for thin framed windows and doors where larger units cannot be used. Press Fit ribs on the R1075 and R1125 contact housings make for quick, easy installation.
