The FP-X Panasonic PLC offers a set of features and functions that rivals all the competition. With processor speeds of 0.32 usec and 32K of program memory, the FP-X is suitable to replace both small and expensive high speed PLCs. The FP-X comes with built-in 24v sensor Power Supply, removable terminal strips and relay outputs. The FP-X is directly powered by AC input. The expandability is endless. There are communication, analog, discrete I/O, and motion expansions. The FP-X Panasonic PLCs can also use all the expansions available in the FP0 series PLC.

Arc and linear interpolation is very handy for pick & place (linear) or glue (arc) applying applications. With the combination of Panasonic FP Sigma and A4 Series Servo Drive, you can do real 2 axis motion control. With the new accurate thermocouple input unit and Panasonic's accurate unique PID and IPD algorithm, you can control temperature easier, and more accurately than ever. Version 2 of the CPU also has an additional expansion port on the left side of the unit. Less than 4 inches in height, the FP2SH Panasonic PLC is not only one of the smallest rack systems in the market, but one of the most powerful. The FP2SH can essentially be a motion controller. It can control up to 64 axes and output up to a 1MHz pulse train. With a response time of less than 0.1 ms and a scan time of 1ms for a 20K step program, the total overhead delay for a 32 axis A Series servo system is only 2.2ms. The FP2 can currently support four types of networks: Ethernet, Profibus-FMS/DP, MEWNET and Remote I/O.

From the makers of the first SLIM FP0 PLC, Panasonic Electric Works is proud to introduce the industry's first panel mount PLC, the FP-e. This small (DIN 1/16 case) PLC has a built-in bright 3 color LED panel capable of displaying up to 5 digits along with predefined units. The function keys on the front panel can be used for setting timers, counters, temperature set points, internal bits, regular data points, and can also be used as 16 additional input switches. Up to 6 screens can be programmed, and with our new wizard feature added to our FPWINGR programming software, this is even easier.
