The GA-311 series of SUNX inductive proximity sensors provides a high performance solution in a
full-featured separate amplifier configuration. With a 3.3kHz response frequency, the GA-311 series is suitable for high-speed
metal sensing applications. All of the sensor heads are IP67g rated, so they are resilient in harsh environments including
water, oil, dust, or dirt. Sensor heads range from the ultra small GH-2SE, with a 2.8mm diameter, to the long range GH-F8SE,
with a detecting distance of 4mm.

ABB inductive sensors are not impaired by light, noise, non conductive dust or fluids, such as
oil. They detect precisely and without the need for adjustment and also offer largely standardised parameters. There are two parts
which make up the wireless ABB proximity switch: the head of an inductive sensor in different dimensions and the communication
module which is identical for all sensor head variants. The communication module is connected conventionally to the ABB proximity
sensor head like a standard sensor plug.

Red Lion Controls Inductive Proximity Sensors detect the presence of metal objects that come
within range of their oscillating field and provide target detection to "zero speed". Internally, an oscillator creates a high
frequency electromagnetic field (RF) that is radiated from the coil and out from the sensor face. When a metal object enters this
field, eddy currents are induced into the object. As the metal moves closer to the Red Lion proximity sensor, these eddy currents
increase and result in an absorption of energy from the coil that dampens the oscillator amplitude until it finally stops. These
Red Lion Controls Inductive Proximity Switches have a maximum sensing distance of 0.078" (2 mm) and 0.393" (10 mm) respectively,
and operate over a wide power supply range.

The Red Lion Controls proximity sensors are each housed in plastic with a top active face. The NPN
transistor outputs are true open collector and are compatible with most Red Lion counter and rate meter input circuits.
Maximum sensing frequencies are 2 KHz and 500 Hz respectively. In addition, the outputs are overload and short circuit
protected. These sensors are shielded for flush mounting in metal applications.
