Operator Interface

Red Lion's G3 operator interface panels give you complete HMI functionality for PLCs, motor drives and other communications-capable devices. With Ethernet as standard on all G3 models, you can network-enable any serial devices connected to the panel. In addition to the G3, Red Lion also offers Paradigm operator panels, plus message centers, slave displays and large digit displays in a variety of configurations.

Displays

Red Lion offers a complete line of component displays that will fit your design. Applications include counting, timing, poistioning, rate and voltage indication. The modules feature reflective and backlight displays, panel and PC boards mounting, low power consumption, attractive pricing and much more.

Large display timers, counter/rate, serial slave display and DC volt/current/process meters offer versatile functionality in easy-to-read 2.25" or 4" red LED digits. Now you can monitor factory processes up to 180 feet away. There are basic counting or timing models available, or fully programmable models with setpoint control and communications. The sealed front panel is rated NEMA 4X/IP65 for washdown environments.

Signal Conditioners

Whether you are converting or isolating a signal, Red Lion Controls has the answer. Choose from base-mounted converters, or our DIN Rail mounted devices - featuring microprocessor based configuration and minimal drift.

Panel Meters

Red Lion panel meters come in voltage, current, temperature, process, strain gage features. More ways to process indication and control. All process variables are scalable to the units you need. Choose from dedicated function models to intelligent solutions that can be enabled for setpoint alarms, communications and analog output with optional plug-in cards.

Data Aquisition

Various communications standards are offered, including Modbus, DeviceNet and Ethernet. Encoders

The Model ZSD encoder is ideal for applications requiring a miniature, high precision, low cost encoder, designed with all metal construction for years of trouble-free operation. The NPN Open Collector outputs are each current limited to 20 mA. The outputs are standard quadrature with index, available in resolutions up to 2500 pulses per shaft revolution. The quadrature separation is typically 90 electrical degrees. Output A leads output B for clockwise rotation of the encoder shaft.

Ethernet

The ICM8 is designed to act as a communication gateway offering multiple protocol conversion for any Red Lion Product. With two serial ports (one RS232 and one RS485) and a 10 Base-T/100 Ethernet Port, the unit performs protocol conversion, allowing disparate devices to communicate seamlessly with one another.

The NT series is a range of compact IEEE 802.3 layer two network switches with automatic speed, duplex and cable sensing. The series features ultra-robust construction, capable of withstanding environmental extremes for use in mission critical applications.

The SWITCH08 is an eight-port Ethernet switch designed to simplify network expansion, while improving the network's efficiency. Eight 10/100 Base-T ports, with auto negotiation of half or full duplex connections requires no setup, reducing installation time.
