The low backlash PSF/PSKF planetary servo gear units from SEW-EURODRIVE in single-stage and two-stage versions are, thanks to their structural design, very compact and allow for high torque and overhung loads. BSF series two-stage helical-bevel servo gear units have high-endurance helical-bevel gear components that are not subject to wear. The bevel gear output stage and helical gearing of the input gear stage are quiet and have low backlash. Helical-bevel servo gear units are available with a 40 to 1500 Nm (346 to 12977 in-lb) torque range, with <6 or <3 angular minute circumferential backlash and acceleration torque up to 1910 Nm (16523 in-lb).
