The different MOVI-PLC basic and advanced controllers are available not only as control cards for the MOVIDRIVE B, MOVITRAC B and MOVIAXIS Inverters but also as compact controllers for installation on a DIN rail. Both the control cards and the compact controllers are designed for universal control of all drives from SEW-EURODRIVE. Engineering for MOVI-PLC control cards and MOVI-PLC compact controllers is identical. Compact controllers are used whenever the option slots in the inverters are assigned or the logistic concept calls for separation of drive and motion control.

The DUV10A diagnostic unit from SEW-EURODRIVE is the perfect sensor for simple and reliable monitoring of antifriction bearings. The DUV10A diagnostic unit measures the structure-borne noise and uses this value to calculate the frequency spectrum. The unit uses this frequency spectrum to constantly evaluate the condition of the antifriction bearings. The structure-born noise sensor and evaluation electronics are fully integrated in the diagnostic unit.

Preventive maintenance is becoming increasingly important, particularly as regards economic and cost-effective system management. The DUB10A (Diagnostic Unit Brake) diagnostic unit from SEW-EURODRIVE is the ideal sensor for monitoring the wear and functionality of the brake. The voltage-dependent signal can be evaluated by an SEW-EURODRIVE frequency inverter or a higher-level controller. Two sensors allow you to monitor proper brake functioning and lining wear simultaneously and reliably.

SEW-EURODRIVE DOP series drive operator panels provide new and additional drive technology functions in, for example, recipe management, dual driver function, pass-through mode or an integrated Web server. The operator panels thus enable optimum system visualization and operation. The same is true particularly in conjunction with higher-level controllers. DOP operator panel functionality ranges from a 2 x 20 character text display to a 1024 x 768 pixel touch-screen.

The tried and tested SEW-EURODRIVE modular system is also used for the MOVIPRO field inverter. The modular system for the MOVIPRO field inverter comprises a modular housing concept and various unit components that can be combined as required. The housing concept is based on a modular structure with various predefined modules that are optimized for use in the field. Various unit components are integrated into the modular housing depending on the requirements. Unit components are, for example, optimized power sections, communication and energy supply components, local I/Os, and synchronous encoder systems.
