NA1-11 & NA1-11-PN Series
The NA1-11 is an area sensor that utilizes a unique cross-beam detection method to accurately detect small and
thin objects. With a wide 100mm sensing height, as well as a 1m length detection distance, this sensor can be used in a wide
range of possible applications. The sensor thickness is a mere 10mm, providing simple mounting due to the lack of space necessary
for integration. A convenient high visibility, 55mm indicator is integrated on both the emitter and receiver. One transistor
output is provided (available in PNP or NPN).
Slim objects can be detected by the cross-beam scanning system. A minimum sensing object size of ø13.5
mm ø 0.531 in can be detected by an emitting and receiving element pitch of 10 mm 0.394 in. It is extremely slim, being
just 10 mm 0.394 in thick. Further, it can be mounted in a narrow space as you can select from two cable orientation

Though being extremely slim, it has a wide sensing area of 1 m 3.281 ft length and 100 mm 3.937 in width. It
is most suitable for object detection on a wide assembly line, or for detecting the dropping of, or incursion by, small objects
whose travel path is uncertain. It conforms to the EMC Directive and the UL Recognition. Moreover, PNP output type, which is much
in demand in Europe, is also available.
Wiring is saved and made simple as no synchronization wire is required between the emitter and the receiver. A
clearly visible large indicator, having a 55 mm 2.165 in width, is incorporated on both the emitter and the receiver. Further, if
the sensing output is directly connected to the large indicator input, the indicator can be conveniently used as a large operation
indicator. Moreover, its operation is selectable between lighting or blinking.
NA1-PK5 & NA1-5 Series
The NA1-5/PK5 series of bin picking sensors is perfect for preventing errors due to incorrect part picking
during assembly or packaging operations. Human error is reduced by incorporating a large, bright LED indicator bar that can be
configured to illuminate or even blink to show the operator which bin they are supposed to use. Long operation is possible at up
to 1.2m; and at only 10mm thick, installation will not obstruct picking operations.
Also, mounting up to two sets of sensors side by side is possible without any mutual interference. This is
useful for multi-tier shelving units. Lastly, sensor protection brackets are available to eliminate damage due to tools or other

Space saving is now possible. The ultra-thin design does not obstruct picking operation. Bright, easy-to-see
job indicators, 55 mm 2.165 in in length, have been incorporated into both the emitter and the receiver. This sensor is optimal
for picking. With the NA1-PK5, we have enhanced visibility even further by using 8 orange LED lights. Its long sensing range of 3 m
9.843 ft is sufficient for confirming access to a parts shelf.
Sensor units can now be set to different light emission frequencies in order to prevent mutual interference.
Two units can now be operated in a side-by-side configuration without interference, for problem-free detection over wider areas.
The job indicator operation can be selected as either continuous lighting or blinking. Either of the two different detection
operations may be selected in order to suit the particular application. Sensor units can be set to detect the interruption of 1
or more beam channels, or can be set to detect only the interruption of 2 or more beam channels.
The NA1-PK3 series of bin picking sensors is perfect for preventing errors due to incorrect part picking during

damage due to tools or other objects. The ultra compact body incorporates a job indicator approx. 50 mm 1.969 in tall. Due to its
brightness and high visibility, it is now possible to check sensor operation even from a distance.
Ultra compact size: W24 × H70 × D8 mm W0.945 × H2.756 × D0.315 in. Can even be mounted within the small space
constraints of parts containers. Output operation can be switched to suit the desired application. Sensor protection brackets are
now available (optional), to protect sensors from damage due to tools and other objects. The protection brackets have a black
coating, which enhances the visual effectiveness of the job indicator.
Synchronization wires are not required, due to the utilization of a synchronized scanning system that results
in a reduction of wiring man-hours. In addition, the sensors can be switched among three different emission frequencies, allowing
up to three sets of sensors to be installed closely together in the same vertical plane, without causing mutual interference. Even
when installed in multistage shelving, malfunctions due to mutual interference will not occur. (When mounted horizontally, a
maximum of two sensor sets may be used side-byside, without interference.)
The sensor's beam axis is directly in line with the mounting holes, making sensor alignment easier. Mounting
can be performed simply by using M4 nuts. The cabling can be oriented in either of the two different directions: downward or
sideways, thus permitting a flexible layout, in accordance with the sensor's mounting position.
The NA2-N series of area sensors provides a general-purpose detection solution with a wide range of sensing
heights (140mm - 540mm). They have a 20mm beam pitch and offer a sensing range of up to 5m. With an ultra-slim body of just 13mm,
mounting has been greatly simplified. A large 102mm indicator is integrated into both the emitter and receiver for high
visibility of output status. Furthermore, the emission frequency can be modified to prevent mutual interference when two sensors
are mounted in close proximity with each other. One transistor output is provided (available in PNP or NPN).
The slim-bodied NA2-N series fits right in your equipment, since it is only 13 mm 0.512 in thick and 30 mm
1.181 in wide. It does not get in the way of your access to the machine.
The thin resin case type area sensor has a sensing hight of 540 mm 21.260 in (28 beam channels), a beam pitch
of 20 mm 0.787 in (minimum sensing object of ø30 mm ø1.181 in), and sensing range of 5 m 16.404 ft to meet a variety of needs.
In addition to the conventional 12, 16, and 20 beam channel types, this new lineup includes 8, 24, and 28 beam channel types. A
wide model variation is provided with sensing heights from 540 mm 21.260 in (28 beam channels) to 140 mm 5.512 in (8 beam

receiver and the emitter feature job indicators, 102 mm 4.016 in wide, with red bright LEDs. When the sensing output and the job

By setting different emission frequencies for two sensors, mutual interference can be prevented. There is no
problem even when the sensors are parallel installed for wide detections area coverage. Moreover, the set frequencies can be
identified by how many times the emitting indicators is light up. The operation of the job indicator can be selected using the
operation mode selection switch. Beam output can be stopped via the input of an external signal. This is an useful test input
(emission halt) function when beginning operation.

TURCK Limit Value Monitor
The IM43-14-SRi and IM43-13-SR limit value
monitors are single-channel devices and alternately monitor measuring current of 0/4-20 mA or
measuring voltages of 0/2-10 V. The three limit values are set via the front panel teach button. In
addition, a voltage of approx. 18 V (at 35 mA max.) is provided, which can be used to power
transmitters or sensors. The output mode is jumper programmable at terminals 5-8.

or the bipolar transistor NPN/PNP open collector outputs is offered. The terminal block connection
simplifies and speeds-up the installation procedure, whereas the heavy-duty plastic housing guarantees
