SUNX FX-100 series' ultra-slim design features a 9mm width and integrated mounting holes for installation in any application. The four chemical, visible red LED used for the emitter ensures long life operation and high-powered sensing. This sensor incorporates a dual digital display for simple setup, along with Automatic Pushbutton teaching and external input capabilities.

The SUNX FX-400 series of digital fiber sensors is a simple, easy to use sensor that does not compromise functionality. Much work has been done to provide a sensor that beginners can operate out of the box that has some of the useful functions found in high-end units. The LED light source of the FX-400 series has been increased to 1.5X that of previous models. This allows for greater resistance to dust, dirt, etc. so that less time needs to be spent on maintenance.

The SUNX FX-300 series of digital fiber optic sensors offers a wide range of sensing possibilities in a compact, high-performance unit. Three types are available for optimal application coverage including the standard type (FX-301), high-function type (FX-305), and the high-speed type (FX-301-HS). The core of the FX-300 series revolves around five main concepts for superior sensor performance: High Stability, Superior Performance, Easy Operation, Easy Maintenance, and Eco-Friendly. SUNX has developed a system that drastically increases the long and short term stability of their FX-300 series digital fiber optic sensors.

The FD series of diffuse-reflective fiber optics is a wide-ranging family of sensing heads that are suitable for use in all SUNX fiber amplifiers. Each type is broken down further to include various configurations such as side-view, fixed-focus, ultra-small diameter, high precision, and wide beam.

The FR series of retro-reflective fiber optics offers a convenient alternative to thrubeam fibers when space is an issue, and are suitable for use in all SUNX fiber amplifiers. Fiber types include standard, transparent object, and wafer mapping fibers (w/ optional heat resistant type).

The SUNX FX-11A is an analog fiber optic sensor is perfect for applications that require basic measurement of work pieces. The 1-5V output can be interfaced with various equipment such as our CA and CA2 control units for advanced calculations such as height evaluation or level detection by differential sensing. The slim size of the amplifier as well as the built-in interference prevention function allow for mounting multiple sensors in close proximity. Convenient indicators on the amplifier include an incident beam indicator, where the brightness fluctuates in proportion to the incident beam intensity, and a saturation indicator that illuminates when the output reaches 5V.

The SUNX FX2 series of fiber optic sensors offers a basic, low cost sensor with a high-speed response time of 15 microseconds. Three LED light sources are available: red, green, and infrared. One control output is provided in either PNP or NPN polarity and an optional off delay function is available.

With SUNX FX-CH Series Bank Selection Unit settings for up to 16 fiber sensors can be changed at once by means of external signals. Bank settings for the FX-301 series digital fiber sensors as well as the FX-302(P) can be selected via an eternal signal without operating the sensors directly. (Load and save) For example, it is possible to automatically change the threshold values, timer setting, or output operation setting to correspond to work selections. Also, the display setting can be switched from incident light intensity display to percentage display greatly increasing applications.

With SUNX FX-311 series, 12-turn potentiometer has been incorporated for fine adjustments. It enables very fine differences to be detected. Moreover, since the pointer of indicator has a red backlight, you can confirm the position at a glance, even in a dark area. And the reliable sensitivity adjustment is simply done since there is the convenient assist function incorporated which informs optimum sensitivity position by blinking of the potentionmeter indicator pointer part when adjusting sensitivity. It is convenient for the delicate detection within the narrow sensing range.

SUNX FZ-10 series of Color Detection Fiber Sensors provide reliable and precise color discrimination by utilizing red, green, and blue LEDs as its light sources. Each LED is digitally processed so that accurate color detection is attained that is not possible with conventional fiber sensors. And with a 1ms response time, SUNX FZ-10 is also suitable for high-speed manufacturing lines. The setup procedure for SUNX FZ-10 has been simplified by incorporating a teach button for manual and automatic threshold setting. In addition, a tolerance adjuster has been implemented for fine-tuning the output to a fine or coarse judgment level. The amplifier is small and compact for easy placement. Four fiber heads are available from the small beam spot FD-L53 (1mm diameter spot) to the long range FD-L54 (40mm distance).
