SUNX TH series is a quick, reliable, non-contact hot melt adhesive detector. Two sensor heads are available: the miniature sized spot type and the long range sensing type. The long-range type has a wide field of view (30mm) that allows for variations in positioning. A built-in indicator on the sensor head provides quick confirmation of the output status at a glance. Also, with a 1ms response speed, the TH series is suitable for use on high-speed production lines.

The Sensor Controller offers full automatic threshold teaching for easy inline setup. Also, three built-in functions help simplify use by offering preset methods to determine basic presence of adhesive, quantity of adhesive, and length of adhesive applied. SUNX US-N300 is a thrubeam ultrasonic sensor that is suitable for the detection of transparent objects. Because this sensor makes its judgment sonically, it does not have the same difficulties in detection as with light based systems. Also, at only 16mm thick, the US-N300 has a small mounting footprint.

SUNX GD series of metal sheet double feed detectors provides a reliable and accurate means of sensing double fed sheets of any metal that is 0.01mm or more thick. A simple teaching function allows for quick sensitivity setting and maintenance. Three types of heads are available from the small object sensing GD-3 to the long sensing range GD-20.

The user-friendly sensor controller provides a seven LED display that indicates the sensing level. Channel-check function: When the channel-check input is connected to 0V, the emission of each channel is stopped successively, one at a time. At this time, the corresponding receiver channels generate an output. This is extremely useful for a start-up check. Interference prevention function: It prevents interference between two sensors installed close to each other. Use this function in applications, such as discriminating object size or sensing position of moving objects, where two sensors are mounted adjacently.

A spatter protection hood type sensor is also available that protects the sensing face against welding spatters.

SUNX LA-T series offers fast and reliable minute granular flaw detection in winding wires. The LA-T11 is just 16 mm (0.630 in) wide allowing it to be mounted on winding wire lines that have a pitch as small as 10 mm (0.394 in). A 0.394 mil flaw (grain or pit) can be reliably detected at a high line speed of 500 m/min. It is suitable for a wide range of lines from a low speed of 5 m/min. to a high speed of 2,500 m/min. Up to 12 sensor heads can be connected to one controller.

In case small amount of dust or dirt sticks to the sensing surface, the controller automatically adjusts the sensitivity. If the light intensity is hindered substantially, an orange alarm indicator illuminates to alert the operated of the need for cleaning.
