Operator System (Stainless Steel)
Saginaw Control & Engineering's type 12 operator systems are designed to house a wide variety
of equipment; panel mount, rack mount, desktop PC's, industrial monitors, keyboards and panel views.
These enclosures are primarily used in an indoor environment to protect against dust, falling dirt,
dropping of non-corrosive liquid, and light splashing of water.
Pull-out shelves are designed to allow easy access to the back of equipment. Vented pull out
shelves are designed to allow air circulation inside the work station. Extends 19" and mounts between
the mounting channels provided inside the work station. Slides are included with shelf. Made of heavy
gauge steel and powder coated white. Mounting hardware is included. Side mount plate is designed to
provide extra mounting space on the sides of the enclosure. Can be securely attached to the mounting
Saginaw Control & Engineering's type 4X fiberglass enclosures are designed for indoor or
outdoor use to house electronic controls, instruments and components in areas that may be regularly
hosed down, in very wet conditions, or are exposed to corrosive agents. These enclosures provide
protection from corrosion, wind blown dust, rain, spraying water, hose directed water and ice
formation on the enclosure.
These enclosures are molded under heat and pressure with fiberglass reinforced polyester resin to
produce superior chemical resistance in corrosive applications. The glass fiber reinforcement
increases impact resistance, produces a superior range of temperature limits, increases ability to
withstand additional tensile loads and exhibits excellent electrical properties. Fiberglass has a
service temperature range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121°C). Relative cost is low
versus other materials while providing average physical strength.
Saginaw Control and Engineering's Industrial Modular System Enclosures (IMS) are designed to
house electrical and electronic controls, instruments and components, with integrated mounting
channels in the top and bottom of the enclosure and grid mounting options making this product more
flexible and easier to work with.
These enclosures are primarily for use in an indoor environment to protect against dust, dropping
of non-corrosive liquids and light splashing of water.
Finish of the enclosures is powder coated white inside and out. Saginaw NEMA 12 IMS enclosures
support the following industry protection standards NEMA Type 12 & Type 13 UL Listed Type 12 CSA
Type 12 IEC 60529 IP 55.
End plates are designed to provide a sealed cover for the open end of a modular enclosure. Provides
additional wiring space along the side of the enclosure. Gasket and mounting hardware is included.
Made of heavy gauge steel and powder coated ANSI-61 gray. Barrier/flat end plates are designed to
serve as a barrier between two modular enclosure sections. Also can be used to provide a lower profile

Enviroline Series Trough Enclosures are designed to house electrical controls, instruments and components
used in an indoor or outdoor environment. Trough enclosures are available Stainless Steel with #4 brushed finish or Steel

visibility of digital or analog components inside.

LED Light Fixtures
LED light fixture is designed to provide interior lighting for an enclosure. Can be
mounted to light channels in the top of an enclosure or on the front flange of most enclosures. Door
activated adjustable switch, switch can be removed and relocated. Terminal block on each end of fixture,
making it easy to wire and daisy chain multiple lights continuously. LED bulb with PVC frosted white
protective light diffuser included. Housing made from steel and powder coated white. Units with convenience
receptacle outlet are 120 VAC with ground 50/60 HZ. Without convenience receptacle outlet 100 to 277 VAC
LED Light Fixtures
Designed to regulate air temperature in enclosures that operate with heaters or fans. This mechanical bi-metallic thermostat has a set point range of 30° to 140° F and is easily installed on 35mm mounting rail. (NC) contact normally closed, or (NO) contact normally open, switch capacity 10 amp 120-250 VAC Resistive load and 1 amp 120-250VAC Inductive load, 1.25 amp 24VDC.

process previously in some areas of its plant, the intermittent spatter associated with traditional MIG, as well as the distortion

Control & Engineering found that the STT process is able to yield a weld that is consistent and smooth, with a cosmetic
appearance similar to TIG, but with the added-benefit of increased travel speeds, virtually eliminating spatter and distortion on
these enclosure products which house electrical components.
