Saginaw Control and Engineering's Industrial Modular System Enclosures (IMS) are designed to house electrical and electronic controls, instruments and components, with integrated mounting channels in the top and bottom of the enclosure and grid mounting options making this product more flexible and easier to work with.
These enclosures are primarily for use in an indoor environment to protect against dust, dropping of non-corrosive liquids and light splashing of water.
Finish of the enclosures is powder coated white inside and out. Saginaw NEMA 12 IMS enclosures support the following industry protection standards NEMA Type 12 & Type 13 UL Listed Type 12 CSA Type 12 IEC 60529 IP 55.
End plates are designed to provide a sealed cover for the open end of a modular enclosure. Provides additional wiring space along the side of the enclosure. Gasket and mounting hardware is included. Made of heavy gauge steel and powder coated ANSI-61 gray. Barrier/flat end plates are designed to serve as a barrier between two modular enclosure sections. Also can be used to provide a lower profile sealed cover for the open end of a modular enclosure. Mounting holes.
Gasket and bolt kit is designed to be used as an additional gasket or to replace gasket kits when changing modular enclosure configurations. Includes oil resistant gasket and zinc coated nuts and bolts. Required when bolting one enclosure to another.

Removable wire cover is designed to cover the wires in the bottom of the enclosure. One wire cover required per door. Filler plates are designed to provide additional mounting surface between sub-panels or sections of a modular enclosure. Slotted mounting holes allow flexible installation. Sub-panels are constructed from galvanized steel for direct bonding of electrical components. U-shape rack angles are designed for use in IMS enclosure to provide provisions for the installation of rack mounted equipment and allow position at the desired rack mounting width and depth.

The Sinusoidal Voltage Supply to the motor reduces hysteresis thermal losses in the motor. Since the motor insulation lifetime is dependent on the motor temperature, the sine-wave filter prolongs the lifetime of the motor. The sinusoidal motor terminal voltage from the sine-wave filter furthermore has the advantage of suppressing any bearing currents in the motor. This reduces the risk of flashover in the motor bearings and
