The ShatterPro Plus is an acoustic glassbreak sensor combined with a passive infrared motion detector for the purpose of eliminating occupant-generated false alarms. When a person enters the motion detector's field of view, the glassbreak sensor is shunted for as long as the person remains in the area.

The sensor can be wired into a 24-hour perimeter loop, free from concerns about false alarms generated by a noisy environment. It can also function as a combined PIR/glassbreak with individual alarm outputs to the panel for separate zoning. A simple hand clap feature lets the user confirm that the sensor is operational, or a handheld tester can be activated at close range.

The Wireless ShatterPro series, which is ideal for applications where hardwired acoustic sensors are impractical, listens for actual patterns of breaking glass using Pattern Recognition Technology. The 5150 series are the most low-profile glassbreak sensors in the industry. Adhering directly to the glass, the sensor acts as a visual deterrent for areas up to 10 feet (3 m). Advanced piezo technology powers the sensors, so no power is needed from the loop. The piezo generates its own electricity when it bends as the glass breaks. The 5400 series sensors mount on windows or doors, either on the frame or on the glass, and respond to shock waves created when glass is broken. Adjustable sensitivity allows each installation to be fine-tuned, enhancing detection and minimizing false alarms.

The GS600 series are highly reliable inertia shock sensors designed to work with the GS614/GS617 analyzer module. The Sentrol GS614 and GS615 Shock Sensor Analyzers work in conjunction with the inertia shock sensors GS600, GS610, & GS611. The analyzer is designed to interface between the shock sensor loop and the burglar control panel.

Models GS614 and GS615 provide sensitivity adjustment for the single shock gross attack level and a pulse count feature which detects small shocks and counts them at one second intervals, storing them in digital memory for 30 seconds. This provides a second level of signal processing to eliminate false alarms and increase detection of repeated tampering attacks.
