Kubler Encoders
Industrial Ethernet
is becoming evermore widespread as a communications standard. Surveys confirm that in many sectors of industry half of the
machines are already equipped with Ethernet. This share will continue to grow and Ethernet TCP/IP as well as the real-time
variants will be used. Those who have integrated the latter in their machines will increasingly fall back on the PROFINET
profile.

 PrecisionLine |
PrecisionLine dual technology motion sensors offer new, easy solutions for your most challenging residential,
pet, or commercial applications. Using a sophisticated combination of precision controlled microwave and passive infrared (PIR)
technologies, these sensors give you total Coverage-on-Demand. PrecisionLine dual technology motion sensors reduce installation
and training time since the installer is not required to make any complicated adjustments to the sensor. A jumper switch allows
you to quickly select from a variety of precise range settings.
Coverage-on-Demand ensures that the sensor detects only objects within a precise area, and not in adjacent
rooms or outside - a common problem for less sophisticated dual technology sensors. With the RCR-PET model, each zone is factory
calibrated to ignore animals up to 80 lbs, and still detect human-size objects.

 AP450/AP450A |
The Mirror Optic passive infrared sensors use true curtain "barriers", a feature that is unique to this
advanced line of sensors. These infrared barriers provide continuous floor-to-ceiling coverage for superior detection and
"undercrawl" protection. The Mirror Optic sensors use 4D signal processing to evaluate an incoming signal's size, speed, shape
and duration. If the signal matches that generated by a human signature, the detector initiates an alarm. This technology
automatically adapts its alarm threshold when faced with a wide variety of environmental disturbances or harsh environments. The
result is fewer false alarms and better detection.
In addition, the Mirror Optic sensors are easy to install. Simple clip-on plastic mirror inserts on the AP450
& AP450A let you choose from four coverage patterns: full 90°, 45° left, 45° right and center curtain only. By combining
sophisticated 4D signal processing with exclusive curtain 3D barrier technology, the Mirror Optic sensors deliver unsurpassed
performance, reliability and false alarm immunity.

 AP475 |
The AP475 uses a true curtain "barrier", a feature that is unique to this advanced line of sensors. The AP475
provides a single 75' curtain and can be installed up to 16' high. The AP Series sensors use patented 4D signal processing to
evaluate an incoming signals size, speed, shape and duration. If the signal matches that generated by a human signature, the
detector goes into alarm. This technology automatically adapts its alarm threshold when faced with a wide variety of
environmental disturbances or harsh environments. The result is fewer false alarms and better detection.
By combining sophisticated 4D signal processing with exclusive true curtain barrier technology, the AP475

 AP633/AP633A |
The AP633A adaptive passive infrared detector features an advanced optical design that provides a far larger
coverage area than conventional sensors. This enables installers to use just one sensor in applications where two or more sensors
are normally required. The savings in equipment, wiring and labor costs can be substantial. The step-focus design of the AP633A
PIR is so precise that detection at 200 feet is as consistent as at 10 feet. Simple clip-on mirror masks allow installers to
select from 12 coverage patterns.
Utilizing "4D" signal processing, the AP633A sensor analyzes size, speed and shape, identifying the
characteristic patterns of human movement. False signals from environmental disturbances, such as static heat sources, air
turbulence from heaters or air conditioners, visible light or rapid background temperature fluctuations, are rejected. Slow noise
buildup is recognized and suppressed before it can destabilize the sensor. Shocks and spikes are also recognized and suppressed
due to the adaptive alarm threshold.
|
 AP669 |
The AP669 Ceiling Mount PIR with Dual Optic Technology incorporates two independent pyros, two separate ASICs
and two 180° mirrors that provide two independent 180° fields of view. This design enables the detector to substantially increase
the overall volume of its coverage area, providing superior detection performance and enhanced false alarm immunity.
Combining 4D signal image processing with the dual mirror optical system, the AP669 analyzes the size, shape,
duration and speed of incoming signals, and actually adapts the alarm threshold when faced with harsh environments. The two
separate 180° mirror segments provide additional flexibility by enabling one of the 180° mirror segments to be shunted. One half
of the coverage pattern is eliminated simply by programming a dip switch located in the back of the sensors housing.
