The environmental characteristics of the GX-F/H series further solidify its high-end performance, easily surpassing conventional products. The IP68g enclosure completely isolates the sensor from the effects of dirt, water, or oil allowing usage in very harsh environments. The series also exhibits an extrememly tight deviation of sensing characteristics, +/-8%, over its usable temperature range of -25 to +70 degrees C. Add in a 10X increase in vibration in shock resistance over our previous models and you are left with the most durable proximity sensor SUNX has created to date. Lastly, SUNX has added a metal sleeve in the mounting hole to increase tightening strength, and doubled the wiring gauge to make workability far easier then our previous models. Installation has never been easier.

The GA-311 series of SUNX Inductive Proximity Sensors provides a high performance solution in a full-featured separate amplifier configuration. With a 3.3kHz response frequency, the GA-311 series is suitable for high-speed metal sensing applications. All of the sensor heads are IP67g rated, so they are resilient in harsh environments including water, oil, dust, or dirt. Sensor heads range from the ultra small GH-2SE, with a 2.8mm diameter, to the long range GH-F8SE, with a detecting distance of 4mm.

The GA-311 amplifier utilizes the one-touch connection interface that is common to other SUNX products such as the FX-300 Series Fiber Optic Sensor or the LS Laser Sensor. This allow for the GA-311 to be connected together with your other sensors to save Power Supply wiring. Large operation and disconnection alarm indicators are incorporated into the amplifier for easy determination of output status as well as faults in the wiring of the sensor head.

The GXL series of SUNX inductive proximity sensors consists of several models from extremely compact types to long-range types. Also, front and top sensing options are provided. This allows the GXL series to be used in a variety of applications. The sensor is available in 2 and 3 wire versions with wiring that has a bend durability that is ten times that of a conventional model. This allows for the sensor to be mounted to a moving object, such as a robotic arm.

The GL-6 series of SUNX inductive proximity sensors is a low cost, compact model suitable for basic metal detection applications. Its small size allows for use in tight mounting conditions. An optional alternate frequency type is available for applications that require close mounting of several GL-6 sensors. A built-in operational indicator provides an easy to see verification of the output condition.

SUNX GL-8/8U series satisfies the need for a low price inductive proximity sensor. It is recommended to large volume users for cost reduction. They are available in 2 and 3 wire versions for maximum application coverage. A wide variety of 16 types are available. This includes front/top-sensing types, normally open/normally closed types, and an alternate frequency type, which allows close mounting of multiple sensors. The GL-8/8U series is equipped with an operation indicator (orange) for quick verification of the output status. Also, the sensor has IP67 protection, so it can withstand contact with water.

SUNX GL-N12 series can be reliably mounted without an exclusive mounting bracket. A positioning boss is provided on the bottom face of the sensor to prevent rotation. Offered at a low price, the GL-N12 series is recommended to large volume users for cost reduction. A wide variety of 16 types are available. This includes front/top-sensing types, normally open/normally closed types, and an alternate frequency type, which allows close mounting of multiple sensors. Output polarity is available in NPN and PNP. It achieves a sensing range of 4 mm (0.157 in), and can reliably detect an object even if its position varies slightly. Also, the sensor has IP67 protection, so it can withstand contact with water.

SUNX GL-18H/18HL series is a long-range (up to 12mm) proximity sensor. It offers high performance at a very low price. Two sensors can be mounted close together (as close as 20mm) utilizing the alternate frequency type that is available.

SUNX GX-N series of cylindrical proximity sensors is a high-performance, easy to use solution for your metal detection needs. It features a robust mounting area that has been improved to accept approx. four times greater tightening torque than that of conventional models. Because the sensor can be securely tightened, it is suitable for use in applications that are susceptible to vibration or shock. The series features simple a 3-wire DC hookup for quick integration. A bright, orange indicator at the base of the sensor provides the user with easy verification of the output status. A wide range of units is available, with shielded or unshielded models up to 22mm in detecting distance.
