 SymCom RS485MS-2W Communication Modules |
The Model RS485MS-2W Communications Module serves two very important functions. From a communication
network view, its primary purpose is to electrically isolate the communications network from the high voltages present in
SymCom's units and to convert the communications signals from the microprocessor's 5-volt levels into RS-485 levels. The
second function of the RS485MS-2W is to provide power to the RM-1000 remote monitor.
The RS485MS-2W has two high speed optical isolation chips on the receive and transmit pins and a low
speed optoisolator on the transmit/receive pin to isolate the communication network from the AC line voltages.

 SymCom CIO-PR Communication Modules |
The CIO-PR module is a convenient, cost-effective Profibus interface device capable of providing
discrete control and monitoring of motor starters, drives and other devices over a Profibus network. The CIO-PR module
provides four solid-state 24VDC inputs and two AC/DC rated relay outputs. It can function as a stand-alone I/O device or
can be connected to any model 777-P series unit to relay real-time information and permit overload control over the
network. The CIO-PR module has flexible addressing standard and provides two connector styles for connecting to the
Profibus network. The CIO-PR allows the use of simple, inexpensive 5-pin pluggable connectors or industry standard 9-pin
D-sub connectors.

 SymCom CIO-DN-P Communication Modules |
The CIO-DN-P module is a convenient, cost-effective DeviceNet interface device capable of providing
discrete control and monitoring of motor starters, drives and other devices over a DeviceNet network. The CIO-DN-P module
provides four solid-state 24VDC inputs and two AC/DC rated relay outputs. The CIO-120-DN-P module provides four solid-state
120VAC inputs and two AC/DC reated relay outputs. Both models can function as a stand-alone I/O device or can be connected
to any model 777-P series unit to relay real-time information and permit overload control over the network. The CIO-DN-P
module has flexible addressing standard and provides simple, inexpensive 5-pin pluggable connectors for connecting to the
DeviceNet network.

SymCom CIO-MLPII-PR PROFIBUS Communication Modules |
The CIO-MLPII-PR Module is a convenient and cost-effective Profibus interface capable of providing
discrete control and monitoring of motor starters, drives, and other devices over a Profibus network. The CIO-MLPII-PR is
designed to provide the following benefits in both new and existing installations:
- reduced field wiring
- greater operator efficiency
- ease in system startup and commissioning

SymCom Model CIO-EN Communication Modules |
The CIO-EN Modbus I/O Module provides four (4) digital inputs and two (2) AC/DC rated relay outputs. It
can be DIN rail mounted or mounted directly to a back panel. The CIO-EN's compact size, ease of wiring and Modbus
communications capability makes the use of traditional discrete devices on Modbus cost effective and simple. The CIO-EN
Module is compatible with SymCom's Model 777-P and 777-P1 overload relays. It simply connects to the side of the 777-P/P1
and, in addition to the extended I/O functions, permits remote monitoring and control of the 777-P/P1 over an Ethernet/RS
485 network. An additional remote reset input is available on the CIO-EN to reset a connected 777-P/P1.

 SymCom 4-20mA Output Modules For 777-AccuPower |
The 777-AccuPower can be used with SymCom's 4-20mA
output module to give an analog signal proportional to this output power. COMM (communications) can be set to OP1 to use the
4-20 mA module or to set the Modbus address: A01-A99. FS (full scale) setting is required when utilizing a 4-20 mA module.
The module output, 4-20 mA, is directly proportional to the shaft power of the motor. A 4 mA output is always given when
shaft power is zero and 20 mA when shaft power equals FS.

SymCom Model CIO-MB Communication Modules |
The CIO-MB and CIO-120-MB Modules are convenient and cost-effective Modbus-RTU (remote terminal unit)
interfaces capable of providing discrete control and monitoring of a 777-P/P1 over a Modbus network. These devices can also
be used as standalone devices in MCC (motor control center) or enclosed starter applications. The CIO-MB and CIO-120-MB are
designed to provide the following benefits in both new and existing installations:
- reduced field wiring
- greater operator efficiency
- ease in system startup and commissioning
