CONTRINEX Cables
Passive Cable Distribution Systems
are an important part of any machine installation. They replace costly connection cabinets and error-prone wiring. Plus, they
provide the connection between Proximity Sensors and control units using cable connectors.

Entrelec Interfaces
Entrelec SSAC (Now SymCom) relay interfaces are used for control and isolation of
electrical and electronic circuits. Relays offer low cost voltage source isolation between Programmable Logic Controllers
(PLCs) and process control systems.

 Gateways & Industrial I/O Stations |
TURCK's BL67 is a modular, user configurable network I/O system designed to allow installation of nodes
containing different types and sizes of I/O depending on the users needs for a particular area. Featuring IP 67 protection and
metal threaded connectors, the BL67 can often be mounted in the physical process environment or directly on a machine without a
separate enclosure for the I/O. This saves planning and installation time, as well as the cost of the enclosure itself. The BL67
system supports several different network protocols, including CANopen. A BL67 station consists of a gateway module that
interfaces to the CANopen system, and several I/O modules that interface with the physical I/O in the field. Different connector
options are available to allow a greater level of customization to the user.

 BL Compact CANopen Module |
TURCK's BL Compact system is now available for CANopen networks, including modules with analog, digital and
RFID signals. Rather than routing all signals through a control cabinet, this device makes it possible to obtain analog, digital,
thermocouple, RTD, serial, RFID or a mixture of signal types in a compact, machine-mountable device.
The BL Compact system may be customized to suit a user's specific needs, so that devices may be added to an
existing network and signals may be gathered on the machine without an enclosure. This drop-in solution can be used to connect up
to 16 devices-drastically reducing the time it takes to run wires for each device back to the control cabinet and the potential
for wiring errors. The BL Compact system is currently available with four, eight or 16 ports in an environmentally hardened
package that is rated for IP 67, 68 and (M12) 69k protection. M8 or M12 connectors facilitate easy installation into any
application, existing or new.

 Gateway For BL20 I/O System Interface |
TURCK has expanded its line of BL20 economy modules with the release of a DeviceNet gateway. The BL20
economy gateway provides a cost effective solution to expand fieldbus I/O. The gateway allows the connection of up to 32 I/O
modules, including digital and analog, resulting in a system that can handle up to 512 digital I/O points or 128 analog I/O
points on a single gateway. A combination of digital and analog I/O on a single node is also an option. BL20 gateways utilize
TURCK's I/Oassistant software package for configuration, parameter set-up, documentation, commissioning and diagnostic
functions.
The BL20 economy gateways are compatible with TURCK's standard BL20 slices, including new motor starter
modules with the SWIRE communication technology. SWIRE connection consists of a single I/O slice within the BL20 node and
uses ribbon cable media to daisy-chain to the motor starters.

 Industrial Input/Output Stations |
TURCK's CANopen piconet stations are compact rugged stations designed for machine mounting. These stations
allow easy connection of standard I/O devices such as Sensors, linear switches, valves and
pilot lights to a CANopen network, typically without a protective enclosure. This is made possible by epoxy-filled station
housings, all-metal connectors and visible rotary address switches, among other things. piconet's small size sets them apart from
other stations. piconet stations are the smallest rugged I/O modules available with a standard housing footprint of 30 x
175 mm.
They are available with Picofast (M8) Connectors for I/O, making them
ideally suited for small-space applications. piconet stations are also able to create a small distributed subnetwork from the
CANopen system, allowing the user to choose a gateway node (identified by the part number SDPL) to connect to a CANopen system.
A fiber-optic network connects the gateway to the chosen I/O modules creating a distributed system that is visible to CANopen as
a single node.
