The limit value monitors IM43-13-SR and IM43-14-SRi are single-channel devices and alternately monitor measuring current of 0/4-20 mA or measuring voltages of 0/2-10 V. The three limit values are set via the front panel teach button. In addition, a voltage of approx. 18 V (at 35 mA max.) is provided, which can be used to power transmitters or sensors. The output mode is jumper programmable at terminals 5-8.

This single channel device is designed to provide an analog 4/20 mA signal to a control system that is converted from an RTD, T/C or mV signal in a hazardous area. This device is software configurable using the PACTware Software tool and a configuration cable that allows configuration to be achieved through your laptop or PC. This device has the added function of a relay output that can be used for under/over range conditions or to monitor a limit value.

The MK43-111-R is used to monitor either 0/4-20 mA or 0/2-10 V input signals. It provides a relay setpoint output that is adjusted by a potentiometer located on the device front.

Jumpering terminals 2 and 4 programs the signal direction of either setpoint. With jumpers, the relay de-energizes if the input signal exceeds the setpoint. Without jumpers, the relay de-energizes if the input signal falls below the setpoint. The 24 VDC device does not provide galvanic isolation between supply voltage and input.

The dual-channel MS31-LIU analog data repeater isolates, converts and repeats standard analog signals and passes them to a user-defined output. The input circuit accepts a standard current input (0/4-20 mA), a standard voltage input (0/2-10 V) or a variable voltage input (0-1 V to 0-10 V). The transfer characteristics are programmed using jumpers across terminals 14, 15 and 16. This allows dead-zero signals to be converted to live zero and vice versa. The device also converts current signals to voltage signals and vice versa.

The analog output signal is available at both outputs, which may be used simultaneously. One output is a voltage output; the other is a current output. The power supply is galvanically isolated from the input and output circuits. A green LED provides power "ON" indication. Special version: MS31-LIU ... /M12: signal inverter (0-20 mA inverted to 20-0 mA).

The MS41-22Ex0-R is a single channel device with four intrinsically safe inputs that can be used as a bistable relay, or as a programmable switching amplifier without bistable characteristics.

As a bistable relay, the switching functions can be programmed to perform "AND" (identity) or "OR" (exclusive OR) functions (set / reset control). By leaving the inputs open or closed, the desired function may be selected. The input circuits can be configured for:

The MS41-42Ex0-R logic amplifier relay has 4 intrinsically safe inputs that accept NAMUR Sensors Or Mechanical Contacts. The inputs are combined into a user defined logic output. The output circuit consists of a DPDT relay. A switch located on the front panel provides a choice of six logic functions.

For applications requiring less than four inputs, observe the following:

• unused inputs should be left open when selector positions 1 and 2 are used (AND/NAND)
• unused inputs should be jumpered when selector positions 3 and 4 are used

The IDENTITY and NON-IDENTITY functions (selector positions 5 and 6) can only be attained with four input sources.
