Red Lion Isolator
The AAMA3535 Universal Module
can isolate and convert over 100 combinations of industry standard analog signal ranges. The universal DIP switch selection
feature eliminates the need to order and stock different modules for each input and output signal. In addition to the conversion
capabilities, the AAMA3535 module features an optically isolated Input/Output signal circuit and a transformer
(galvanically).

 MK73-R/T/Z-22-E/A Series |
The MK73-R/T/Z22 couplers are used to isolate and condition discrete signals in applications that require
high component density. Vertical isolation results in a width of 9 mm per channel. Field circuits are wired to the bottom
terminals (1/3 and 2/4). Control circuits are wired to the top terminals (5/7 and 6/8). This configuration simplifies wiring
by keeping control and field circuits separate.
The couplers are available with relay, transistor or Triac outputs for a wide variety of applications.
Transistor outputs are short-circuit and reverse-polarity protected. These devices were designed with minimal options to
provide high operational integrity at low cost, making them an ideal interface at the best price/function ratio. A
comprehensive range of options is also available for special applications.

 IM72-11Ex/L & IM72-22Ex/L Series |
This single channel device is designed to drive the vast majority of intrinsically safe solenoids
available, as well as "IS" displays and other field devices that may require a separate "IS" power source. The unique design
allows different configurations to be implemented depending on the specific field device being used. Loop power is applied from
a non-hazardous area source directly to the non-hazardous area inputs eliminating the requirement for additional power supply
connections. Typical applications are the control of EExi pilot valves as well as the supply of displays and transmitters.
The output values of the two connections U1 and U2 differ with respect to the no-load voltage indication.
- 1 channel solenoid driver or "IS" supply
- Loop powered
- 2 output levels
- Switching frequency up to 500 Hz

 MK71-Z Series |
The MK71-Z series inductive coupler is designed for conversion and/or isolation of different signals.
The MK71-Z01 has two input circuits for different control voltages:
The output circuit consists of a Triac circuit that switches up to 500 mA at 20-250 VAC. The MK71-Z02 has
one AC input circuit; the MK-Z03 has one DC input circuit. Both units feature a Triac output circuit that switches up to
400 mA at 20-250 VAC.

 MK72-S01-Ex/ Thru MK72-S22-Ex/ Series |
The MK72-S01-Ex/24VDC through MK72-S22-Ex/24VDC are solenoid drivers with intrinsically safe outputs.
They are designed to isolate and power loads in hazardous locations. Typical applications are intrinsically safe solenoids
and pilot lights. The output voltage of the MK72-S01-Ex/24VDC and MK72-S02-Ex/24VDC may be converted from 12 to 6 VDC or
24 to 15 VDC by jumpering terminals 3-4. The output voltage of the other devices is fixed and varies from 8-24 VDC. Loads
can be controlled in two different ways:
- Control circuit: use an isolated contact to switch terminal 5 to terminal 6 or apply a control voltage to terminal
5. In this operating mode the switching frequency is 250 Hz.
- Power supply: jumper terminals 5-6 and apply a switched 24 VDC to terminals 7-8. In this operating mode the
switching frequency is limited to 25 Hz.
The input and output circuits of both devices are galvanically isolated from each other. A green LED
indicates "Power ON" status and a yellow LED indicates "Output ON" status.

 MK73-R111-Ex0 & MK73-R222-Ex0 Series |
The MK73-R111-Ex0 and MK73-R222-Ex0 electrical relays are used to switch intrinsically safe electrical
circuits. They provide reliable galvanic isolation to EN 50020 between control circuit and contacts. The relay design is
available in two versions:
- R111: one channel with a SPDT output
- R222: two channels, each with one N.O. output
This reed relay has a considerably higher switching frequency (50 Hz) than standard relays. The Rhodium
contacts are also well suited for general control applications, especially where standard relays are at their limits with
regard to switching frequency and contact ratings. An LED status indicator is located on the device front.
