TURCK introduces a new submersible pressure transmitter to meet the increasingly difficult Level Detection challenges presented in industrial environments, like tanks containing liquids such as gas and diesel, or wastewater and irrigation systems. TURCK's PT4510 submersible pressure transmitter was designed for low level applications of up to 400 inches, while the PT4500 is available in ranges up to 100 psig.

The PT4500 and PT4510 submersible pressure transmitters are used to detect the level of water or other media with similar density by placing the transmitter at the bottom of the tank holding the liquid. These transmitters convert the pressure reading to an analog 4-20 mA output signal.

TURCK PK sensors were designed to provide an economical sensor option for switch point detection in air and inert gas applications. The compact sensors are IP 65 rated, and ideal for use in pneumatic and robotic applications. PK sensors are available in two body styles: the pico and nano style to provide for a broader range of mounting options.

The sensor is programmed through easy-to-use push buttons, and the menu may be inverted for additional programming flexibility. PK sensors provide the two pressure ranges most commonly found in pneumatic applications: -29.5 to 0 inHg and 0 to 145 psi, with 3% accuracy.

TURCK introduces PS300 series stainless steel sensors for hydraulic applications, featuring a rugged, IP69K rated design to withstand harsh environments. PS300 sensors provide a wide measuring range, from 3 to 400 bar. Signals are directly processed on the PS300's newly developed pressure measuring cell, and then digitally transferred to the sensor's fully potted, self-contained display. This design offers a high level of EMC resistance and excellent switch point accuracy: 0.5 percent of the full scale.

PS300 sensors are available in male or female 1/4" NPT or G1/4" thread versions, with digital or analog (voltage or current) outputs for all measuring ranges. Bonded seals ensure a reliable process connection for highest-accuracy measurements. The new pressure sensors additionally support the I/O-Link communications standard, allows processing data to be transferred via a digital output.

TURCK has expanded its line of pressure sensors to include a specialty sensor for hazardous areas. The PT4300 is a media isolated stainless steel pressure sensor for use in oil and gas, refrigeration, gas compression, test stands and industrial OEM applications. PT4300 sensors are UL/cUL 1604 (CSA 213) Class I, Div 2, Groups A, B, C and D approved sensors for hazardous area applications. The sensors are constructed without o-rings or welds, allowing pressure ranges up to 10,000 psi with burst pressure up to 20,000 psi. Available outputs include 4-20mA loop powered, 0.5 to 4.5V ratiometric, 1-5 V, 1-6 V and 10mV/V.

PT4300 sensors are manufactured using MEMS (microelectro mechanical systems) technology. With it's one piece sensing design, the PT4300 offers many advantages over other sensing technologies, including high life cycle, high overload and burst pressure cycles.

TURCK PT 510 pressure transmitters provide many advantages over similar transmitter designs, including a stainless steel diaphragm and fully welded construction that eliminates the need for an O-ring seal. The absence of an O-ring and a silicon filled interior prevent moisture from entering the sensor in humid environments; making PT 510 transmitters ideal for the food and beverage industry in cooling and refrigeration applications. The transmitters are available with a measurement range up to 500 psi, and an accuracy rating of 0.5 percent of the full scale.

TURCK PC series die cast zinc housing switches are easy to set up and can be programmed at any time with no in-line pressure required. This means all parameters can be programmed prior to installation to reduce downtime.

The series PS400/500 TURCK pressure sensors combines a high accuracy rating of 0.5% of the full scale and excellent performance with simple and safe mounting and operation. The PS series 500 TURCK pressure switches includes a sensor body that can be rotated by 360° or non-rotatable housing version.

The sensor is easily programmed via three controls: two push buttons for scrolling through programming features, and one recessed enter key. The push buttons are finger operated, and used to make value selections in the menu or to scroll through the various menu options. The recessed button is used to store selected values, and prevents programmed values from being tampered with or inadvertently altered.
