TURCK introduces a line of highly reliable and easy to program temperature sensors. The TS400 and TS500 temperature sensors incorporate a multitude of design features that make the sensors suitable for nearly all factory and process automation applications. TS400 and TS500 temperature sensors are platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), a technology commonly referred to as Pt-100.

Pt-100 technology is known for its precision, repeatability and ability to provide incredibly fast response times. The sensors may be mounted directly or remotely, and sense a temperature range of -50 to 500 degrees Celsius (-50 to 932 degrees Fahrenheit). TS400 and TS500 sensors are available with two switch points, an analog current output with one switch point, and an analog voltage output with one switch point.

TURCK introduces a new line of temperature transmitters with an analog output that eliminates the need for specialized RTD PLC input cards, saving the user the expense associated with these cards. The transmitters stainless steel connection make them particularly suitable in the food and beverage arena. The TTM series provide a 4-20 mA output using an integrated PT100 resistance temperature detector. TTM sensors are plug-and-play, and come pre-scaled at 0 to 100 degrees C, 0 to 150 degrees C, -50 to 50 degrees C, or -50 to 150C.

The self-contained temperature-monitoring device has two independently adjustable switching points or single switch point with separate analog output. These can be used for limit-value monitoring or window functions. The operating range is between -40° and +120°C when used in liquid or paste-like media.

This single channel device is designed to provide an analog 0/4-20 mA signal to a control system that is converted from an RTD, T/C, or mV signal in a hazardous area. The measuring range and device functions are set via rotary switches or slide switches on the side of the device.
