TURCK's new Q12 Uprox+ sensors provide unrivaled sensing ranges from a miniature sensor. Q12 Uprox+ sensors are able to achieve a full 5 mm sensing range when flush mounted; the furthest among similar products on the market. The miniature sensors augment TURCK's existing line of Uprox+ sensors that detect all metals at the same rated sensing distance.

Q12 sensors measure a mere 12 x 40 x 26 mm, and feature an integrated 45 degree connector to facilitate use in space restrictive places. The Q12 is available with the M8 Picofast, M12 Eurofast or Direct PUR Cable Connection, and utilizes a two-color LED that displays both operating voltage and dampened state.

TURCK's Q08 uprox+ factor 1 sensor is now equipped with extended range capabilities of 8 mm for all metals. The Q08 sensors' compact size is well-suited for applications with limited mounting space, and an IP 68 protection rating allows the sensors to be used in a wide variety of applications.

The Q08 sensor family comes equipped with internal shielding that effectively eliminates pre-damping, allowing the user to utilize the sensor's full switching distance even when mounted on metal surfaces. Two LEDs provide a reliable visible indication of the switching status. TURCK's uprox+ factor 1 sensors do not have a reduction factor and are capable of detecting steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum at the same rated sensing distance.

TURCK's uprox+ line of advanced factor 1 sensors has been expanded to include a Q10S sensor: a very compact 10 by 10 by 28 millimeter sensor that can achieve sensing distances of up to 5 millimeters, depending on how the sensor is mounted. The Q10S sensors have an active side face and detect all metals at the same rated distance, making it applicable across all industries including material handling, automated assembly, conveying, sorting, product positioning and even industrial robotics.

These sensors provide an extended range and integrated pre-damping function that allows it to be mounted directly on metal, or flush mounted on four sides. Furthermore, with an intermediate metal plate, the sensors can even be mounted directly beside one another without causing interference. Internal electronics also make the sensors particularly resistant to EMC and rated for IP 68 degree of protection.

TURCK introduces the new IP 68 rated, 80 mm rectangular Ni75U-Q80 uprox+ sensor specifically designed for sensing small targets, especially those on automotive skids. This rugged sensor features excellent EMC immunity, making it ideal for use in automotive manufacturing environments. The Ni75U-Q80 sensor additionally offers switching distances up to 75 mm, as well as fl exible mounting confi gurations.

TURCK's uprox+ factor 1 sensors detect all metals at the same rated distance and feature extended range capabilities even when embedded in metal. The Ni75U-Q80 sensor facilitates single-sided mounting on a rear metal wall, or it may be fully embedded, delivering a 40 mm switching distance when surrounded by metal on all four sides.

TURCK introduces an integrated terminal chamber for its line of uprox + sensors that conforms to FDA requirements for washdown applications in the food and beverage industry, such as dairies, breweries and bakeries. The terminal chamber includes removable terminals for quick and easy mounting, either by means of screws or cage clamps. Furthermore, by simply rotating the cover by 180 degrees, the user has the option of a straight or 90 degree cable exit.

TURCK's uprox+ line of factor 1 sensors detect all metals at the same rated distance and meet the requirements for food safe materials. The sensors are available in 12, 18 and 30 mm stainless steel barrels with a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) front cap that is impermeable to cleaning agents, disinfectants, high pressure and steam cleaning.

TURCK has incorporated its Uprox+ technology into its line of M8 miniature picoprox sensors to provide compact housings with sensing distances that far exceed ferrite core sensors, especially while sensing nonferrous metals. The sensors feature stainless steel housing and weld field immunity for use in harsh duty environments, like tool and die, welding and metal forming applications.

TURCK's new M8 sensors incorporate 316 stainless steel housings to provide superior strength and corrosion resistance, and are available with extended 2 mm sensing ranges for flush mount versions or 6 mm ranges for non-flush applications. All sensors are 3-wire DC, 10 to 30 VDC, with PNP normally open or closed, or NPN normally open versions. Numerous cable options are also available, including M8 picofast or M12 eurofast connections to match any application. All sensors are IP 68, NEMA 6p rated for use in harsh environments.

TURCK's line of uprox+ Factor 1 sensors now include IP 69k rated washdown versions with temperature ratings from -40 to 100 C. These sensors are designed to be highly resilient to the high-pressure cleaning agents often found in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

The sensors incorporate durable 316 stainless steel construction and a liquid crystal polymer front cap that aids in resisting moisture ingress. It also consists of a Polypropylene Cable Jacket that stands up to harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures. Uprox+ sensors feature longer sensing ranges for detecting all metals, including non-ferrous metals such as stainless steel, at the same rated distance. This is especially useful in applications like food and beverage where the targets are often made from stainless steel.
