US-N300 is a thrubeam ultrasonic sensor that is suitable for the detection of transparent objects. Because this sensor
makes its judgment sonically, it does not have the same difficulties in detection as with light based systems. Also, at
only 16mm thick, the US-N300 has a small mounting footprint.

Q12 Style Housing |
TURCK introduces a new ultrasonic sensor in a compact Q12 style housing that achieves a 40 cm sensing
range with an incredibly small 2.5 cm blind zone. The small profile of the sensor allows it to be mounted in narrow spaces,
like those found in packaging applications. TURCK Q12 series is available with retro-reflective and diffuse operation modes,
and PNP and frequency outputs. The Q12 is IP 67 rated for environmental protection.

TURCK M18, & M30 ultrasonic sensor styles have one transducer that functions both as emitter and
receiver, which results in a larger blind zone. They have a narrow sonic cone (6°) and are especially suited for detection of
small objects in a small area at a long distance.

TURCK CP40 ultrasonic sensor styles have two transducers one emitter and one receiver, which results in
a smaller blind zone. They have a wide sonic cone (60°). The wide cone angle allows for a greater angle of inclination for the
target. TURCK CP40 style sensors are especially suited for detecting objects in a large area.
