TURCK introduces a line of highly reliable and easy to program temperature sensors. The TS400 and TS500 temperature sensors incorporate a multitude of design features that make the sensors suitable for nearly all factory and process automation applications. TS400 and TS500 temperature sensors are platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), a technology commonly referred to as Pt-100. Pt-100 technology is known for its precision, repeatability and ability to provide incredibly fast response times. The sensors may be mounted directly or remotely, and sense a temperature range of -50 to 500 degrees Celsius (-50 to 932 degrees Fahrenheit).

Several process connections are available with the TS400 and TS500 sensors, including compression fittings, thermowells and tri-clamp fittings. TS400 and TS500 TURCK temperature sensors are available with two switch points, an analog current output with one switch point, and an analog voltage output with one switch point. The sensor's multiple outputs are programmed via Push-buttons, and do not require regular maintenance calibration.

A recessed "enter" key helps prevent unintentionally altering stored values. The sensor's compact design allows it to be mounted directly next to other sensors or in space restrictive places. TS400 and TS500 sensors display Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, and ohms outputs on a large, bright LED screen that may be inverted electronically. The TS500 version may even be rotated by 320 degrees. The sensor's stainless steel housing provides an IP 67 environmental rating, and an M12 eurofast connection provides easy integration into existing applications.

The CONTRINEX High Temperature Photoelectrics our Heavy Duty (FMS Series) photoelectric temperature sensors when combined with the high temperature fiber optic cables are resistant to temperatures up to 250 C. The CONTRINEX Amplifier are available in threaded M18 or M30 housing sizes. Options for the fiber optic cables include retro-reflective or through-beam, with straight or right angle ends.

A sensing distance of up to 3000mm can be achieved. A perfect example of such an application is the glass bending industry where high temperature resistance and precision are required for a uniform product. The Red Lion Controls PT Series Pressure Transmitters are designed to provide accurate and dependable pressure measurement, even in the most demanding applications. The reliability of solid-state design and the durability of the stainless steel case are the cornerstone of their design. Proven ceramic component technology allows long-term stability and high tolerance to overpressure conditions. The 4 to 20 mA output can easily be connect to any Red Lion process meter for monitoring and/or control.

Accessory hardware is available to wire and mount the temperature sensor in the user's existing thermowell. Optional spring loaded fittings (sold separately) slide along the probe sheath to proper immersion depth as determined by the user. These fittings allow for strong contact between the Red Lion temperature probe and the thermowell to improve response.
