Toshiba Industrial Systems
Toshiba provides low voltage adjustable speed drives that are specifically designed for HVAC systems, offering complete and simple control of your fan and pump applications. Our drives feature compact enclosures with reactor-less, harmonic-suppressing technologies and built-in filters. This saves time, wiring costs, and installation space, which are all critical factors for an HVAC system. In addition, our drives are equipped with numerous safety features and communications for easy maintenance and to help protect your drive and system from common HVAC anomalies.
Q9 Plus Low Voltage
Toshiba stands at the forefront of innovation with our remarkably intuitive and user-friendly startup. In fact, out-the-box, the Q9 Plus is only minutes from complete configuration and full optimization of your HVAC system's performance.
Toshiba's breakthrough VLP algorithm has taken PID and made it obsolete, completely reinventing how users control pressure or flow. With this new technology, after simply inputting a few values into the Q9 Plus, optimum control is attained. Toshiba's VLP Setup Wizard effortlessly guides the user through the entire process.
The setup process defines the operating boundaries by establishing a minimum VLP point and a maximum VLP point. By defining the minimum and maximum points, VLP creates an operating domain within the drive that is directly and proportionately related to the specific pumping system to which it is connected.

Q9 Low Voltage
Toshiba has manufactured pulse-width modulated drives since 1981 and is one of the few companies that manufactures both motors and drives in the same facility. Because of this, Toshiba has the knowledge to develop and manufacture the most powerful, efficient, and motor-friendly adjustable speed drives available.
Toshiba produces one of the most reliable and rugged adjustable speed drives in the industry. Users can rely on Toshiba drives working for years beyond their warranty. The Q9 is no exception - it is built to last. Toshiba uses oversized transistors and heavy-duty DC bus capacitors to extend the drive's life. The Q9 is listed at 100,000 AIC interrupting capacity. The drive is also designed to operate in environments from -10° to 40°C at elevations up to 3,300 feet.
A built-in proportional/integral/derivative (PID) controller, used to regulate a process without the need for external control devices, comes standard with the Q9. In addition, the wire break function trips the drive if the feedback signal drops below specified levels. This prevents the drive from accelerating to maximum speed and helps protect the system.
QX7 Low Voltage
The QX7 adjustable speed drive is an advanced AC drive featuring a patented 18-pulse auto transformer input for harmonic cancellation. The QX7 includes a backlit graphical LCD screen, RS232/RS485 ports, and a programming/speed control encoder knob. Isolated three-contactor bypass units include an Inverter/Off/Bypass selector switch, Inverter Test On/Off selector switch, bypass mode pilot light (red), and inverter mode pilot light (red) on the enclosure door.
Standard features include; auto-transformer, input fuses, ground lug, customer terminal block, door-mounted electronic operator interface, power-on pilot light (white), run pilot light (red), fault pilot light (amber), Hand/Off/Auto selector switch, red push-botton that turns to reset emergency stop, ASD-RTC real-time clock option, and ASD-ISO-1 analog isolator (two isolated outputs and one isolated input).

High Starting Torque makes these motors ideal for a wide range of applications. Starting capacitors, cast iron frames, rigid base and oversized ball bearings to ensure extended motor life are all standard features. Remember to considered ambient temperatures and that TEFC motors are specifically designed for operating in environments of dirt, dust and excess moisture. Motors are tested according to IEEE 112 standard method 'B' or
Harmonic Distortion may disturb or even damage sensitive equipment connected in the same environment. Harmonic standards are thus becoming stricter and there is a growing demand for low harmonic solutions. The ACS800-37 drive offers an easy solution to the problem of harmonics. The solution itself is incorporated in the drive, eliminating the need for any additional filtering equipment or complicated and large multi-pulse transformer
