Benefit from functional safety with Safe Torque Off to prevent the motor from generating torque on the motor shaft, Safe Stop 1, and ATEX certified motor over-temperature protection. Vacon 100 also has a unique feature with built-in Ethernet to make integration to plant automation easy and efficient via integrated ModBus TCP, Ethernet I/P or Profinet IO.

The reliability testing process at Vacon ensures that drives have gone through tests such as MEOST (Multiple Environmental Over Stress Test), HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), ALT (Accelerated Life Test) and Endurance tests. These tests, applied in the prototype phase, are far more extensive than generic environmental tests and bring added value to our customers.

ABB ACS150

There is a Built-in PID Controller in the drive. The controller can be used to control process variables such as pressure, flow or fluid level. In process PID control, a process reference (setpoint) is set with drive's integrated potentiometer. An actual value (process feedback) is connected to the drive's analog input. The process PID control adjusts the drive speed in order to keep the measured process quantity at the desired level.

To Be UL & NEC Compliant while using flexible stranded wire, it was necessary to use crimp-type ring lugs investigated for flexible stranded wire. By using Marathon's UL 486A-B investigated screw-type pressure connectors in place of crimp lugs, you can save up to 66% of termination costs in material and labor. Marathon's wire approvals, in addition to Classes B and C, now include stranding Classes G, H, I and K.
