The Vacon NXS is a compact AC drive in the power range of 0.75 - 560 kW and supply voltages of 208-690 V for heavy use in machines, buildings and all branches of industry. The robust design incorporates effective protection against supply network disturbances. Trip-free operation is also guaranteed due to sophisticated motor control principles and motor/drive protection features, component selection and effective cooling.

The Vacon 100 Motor Mountable drive is a tough drive for applications requiring a control as smooth as silk. With high advanced control capability and built-in harmonic filtering chokes, it is the ideal solution for a large variety of applications. The robust die-cast frame and the large and open cooling ribs are the perfect starting point for designing a drive for demanding applications.

In the Vacon 100 Motor Mountable has not been forgotten the inside technology either. Powerful control with advanced motor control functionality, extensive I/O and numerous control options make the Vacon 100 Motor Mountable drive ideal for demanding tasks. Thanks to the built-in PLC functionality, it is possible to create customer-specific software solutions without any extra hardware costs. The powers range from 1.1 up to 30 kW.

Enclosure classes Of IP21 & IP54 and integrated high-level EMC filters make the Vacon NXS suitable for all environments. The Start-Up Wizard and the standard All-In-One Application Package make parameter setting extremely easy in all cases, from simple to complex. The wide and flexible standard I/O and option for five I/O boards provide versatile controllability. The most common fieldbus options are also available. The modular design of the Vacon NXS brings several advantages:

• upgrading the control inputs and outputs is easy and convenient
• replacing the cooling fan (the only regularly replaceable component) is fast
• the display panel can be utilized for parameter copying, etc.

From simple applications to those requiring advanced communications, Vacon 50X and Vacon 500X offer an increasing level of performance and features for the industrial environment. Capabilities ranging from simple press-and-run keypad operation to a real-time clock, advanced PLC functions or a USB interface are available. The powers up to 75 kW are available in IP66 for the ultimate environmental protection. The Vacon 500X is available for powers from 0.75 kW to 132 kW at voltages of 110, 220, 400-500 and 600 VAC.
