Relays & Couplers |
Relays are available in different forms - from modular terminal enclosures to plug-in bases for terminal
rail mounting. For switching and amplification of digital signals in automation engineering as well as for electrical
isolation between control and load circuit.
The input voltages (coil voltage) lie between 5 and 230 V AC/DC depending on type. Different types of
contacts such as NOC, NCC and CO contacts are available at the output. The use of different contact materials enables the
switching of power ratings from just a few mW to max. 4 kVA.

Optocouplers & Solid State Relays

FBCon Fieldbus Distributor |
The FBCon Fieldbus distributor is available in the industry and EEx (ia) version. They are used for
coupling from 1 to 8 field devices or sensors. They are connected via spur lines.
The connection to the spur line can be optionally made with an M12 or 7/8 plug or directly via an EMC
cable gland. Communication and device power feed are transferred by a common 2-wire line. The PROFIBUS-PA and Fieldbus
Foundation have this same feature.

Interface Units |
The interface components are available as a clear alternative to the point-to-point wiring system in
order to reduce costs and to simplify the setup of the electrical cabinets. The main function of this interface is as an
adapter between the control devices and field elements.
The pre-assembled cables supplied by Weidmüller are also used to connect the tester with the interface.
