Current/Voltage to Frequency

The externally supplied MCZ CFC signal converters for isolating and converting standardised DC current signals are 6 mm wide.

The input and output circuit and the voltage supply are completely electrically isolated. The input signal is converted into a frequency band. 0-1 kHz / 0-4 kHz / 0-8 kHz / 0-16 kHz. Selection is carried out using DIP switches.

The 24 VDC supply voltage can be cross-connected using jumpers (ZQV 2.5N).

Frequency to Current/Voltage

The WAS/WAZ PRO Freq f/DC isolator/converters in the compact 12.5 mm wide housing convert input frequencies of up to 100 kHz into standardised analogue signals. The devices can be freely configured via DIP switches.

The connection on the input side is suitable for both 2- and 3-wire PNP/NPN or Namur initiators. The lower and upper measuring frequency can be individually configured via both DIP switches and an external frequency generator (as of 16 kHz) and assigned to an accordingly standardised current/voltage output. The devices have 4 kV 3-way isolation and do not need to be calibrated separately.

Via ZQV2.5 N cross-connections, the 24 VDC supply voltage can be bridged on the module side. The f/DC isolator/converters are optionally available in screw or tension-clamp connection technology.
