JACKPAC Relay Module

The JPR relays in their IP 68 JACKPAC enclosures are available with and without electrical isolation. The switching amplifier amplifies 24 Vdc switch outputs to max. 2 A. The switching voltage at the output is fed via a T-junction.

  • The switching amplifiers are simply built into actuator system controls.
  • For example, switching outputs can be amplified from 24 V DC / 0.5 A to 24 V DC / 2 A.
  • Optionally with galvanic isolation for insulating between the input and output circuits, which prevents conducted interference on the switching output.
  • Switched voltage feed at output via T-distributor

JACKPAC Timer

Signal extenders can be simply connected on the cable between the sensor and the input modules. They extend the pulse length from 1 ms. to 50 or 100 ms. Short sensor signals can also this enables short sensor signals to also be reliably recognized and evaluated by the controller.

Timing relays are used in automation engineering in order to compensate for malfunctions caused by high clock rates. Short pulses are extended and hence are reliably identified by downstream control components. Various timing functions such as make and break delays, clock generator and star/delta switchover are available to users.

Signal Inverters

Signal inverters convert PNP sensor signals to NPN signals and NPN signals back to PNP. Thus, existing circuits require no complex adaptation and the existing inputs on the I/O cards can be put to best use. This is particularly well suited for the Asian and North American markets.

The JPP level converters convert NPN signals into PNP signals and vice versa. This guarantees optimum adaptation to existing circuits.

Test Adapter

The new JACKPAC test adapter now provides a simple way of intervening in an M12 network. It can be integrated at any point and enables quick and easy connection of a testing device via the 5 PUSH IN connections. Status indicators show the status of the 2 signal channels as well as the 24 VDC auxiliary voltage. The following products are available as functional components:

  • Switch and button components in a sealed built-in EG2 enclosure
  • Rectifier and fuse components in a sealed built-in EG2 enclosure
  • Logic components with AND, NAND, OR and NOR operators
  • Diode gates with up to 40 inputs in open design

1-Stage & 3-Stage Surge Protection

The surge protection is plugged in to protect the sensitive electronics in the signalling circuit. The suppression circuit with varistor suppresses the induced voltage in solenoid valves. The PE connection leaves the housing via a separate line. The green/yellow earthing cable must be connected to the system east to ensure reliable discharge of interference pulses.

Jackpac OVP terminal equipment against the overvoltages that can occur as a result of atmospheric discharges or storms. This type of protection in the form of an adapter is available in IP20 and IP67 versions and complies with the requirements of class III to IEC 61643-21.
