WMF Series

Weidmüller's new WMF (Weidmüller Multi-Functional) line of terminal blocks provide a multi-functional solution for routing and distributing signals. This space-saving terminal combines all the necessary functionality into a single solution.

It features an integrated shield connection and can be used with feed-through, fuse and disconnect functionality. The three cross-connection channels and wide variety of labelling options offer additional flexibility.

WDK Series

The new WDK 2.5 DU PE TR multiple level terminal blocks are designed to reduce cabinet space and increase functionality in signal-loop circuit installations. By connecting the signal wire to the upper level, the neutral to the lower level and the shield to the integrated PE contact, a signal loop can be connected to just one terminal.

The unique integrated PE contact also eliminates the need for a separate PE terminal block and reduces needed cabinet space. At only 5.1mm wide, the new WDK 2.5 DU PE TR is one of the highest wiring density solutions in screw-clamp termination for DCS marshalling or PLC applications.

2-Tier Modular Terminals

The WDK two-tier modular terminals can feed two potentials in one terminal. The type of cross-connection for potential distribution, which is either a screw (WQV) or plug-in version (ZQV), represents another distinguishing feature.

SAK-Series Terminal Blocks

Weidmüller's many years experience in the market have resulted in constant optimisation. No other modular terminal in the world is based on such comprehensive expertise as the SAK Series. The inconspicuous insulators with their "clamping function" for the electrical conductors are based on a wealth of sound knowledge and experience.

This is necessary because every day modular terminals carry out the most diverse functions under adverse conditions. The connection systems are chosen to suit the respective applications.

Modular PE Conductor Terminals

The PE terminals are available in two designs: standard and compact (N), with rated cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 150 mm² (e.g. 2.5 mm² - WPE 2.5 or 4 mm² - WPE 4N).

Test Disconnect Terminals

Modular Terminals with External Spring

In some countries, control and protection of switching installations for transmission and distribution networks must comply with the EA-TS 50-18 standard. The standard prescribes "spring-loaded" terminals in conjunction with hook-blade cable lugs in order to ensure additional safety. The Weidmüller "spring-loaded" terminals of the WDU SL series and the disconnect terminals of the WTL SL series comply with this standard. In the SL versions, the clamping yoke is backed up by a helical spring. Furthermore, this arrangement permits two conductors to be connected to one terminal when the hook-blade cable lugs are placed back to back. The aim of this arrangement is to ensure good electrical contact even if someone forgets to tighten the clamping screw!

Terminals for Retroactive Installation of Electronic Components

Weidmüller varistor terminals have been designed for the retrofitting of electronic components, e.g. varistors, diodes, gas discharge tubes, etc. These "electronic terminals" no longer have to be configured prior to installation for subsequent delivery with soldered components which can no longer be distinguished.

Stud Terminals

The comprehensive range of bolt-type screw terminals offers secure connections for all power transmission applications. Connections from 10 mm² to 300 mm² are possible. The conductors are attached to the terminals using crimped cable lugs and each connection secured by tightening the hexagonal nut.

Bolt-type screw terminals with threads from M5 to M16 can be used depending on the conductor cross-section. A low voltage drop and the use of a self-extinguishing material with a V-0 (UL 94) flammability rating guarantee maximum safety. All bolt-type screw terminals have been tested according to international railway standards (EN 50343, EN 50155, NF F61-017, NF16-101; Ria 20) and comply with the requirements of those standards.

Colour Alternatives

• Wide variety of colors are available as standard.
• Other terminal types can be supplied in customised colours on request for quantities exceeding the minimum quantity.

Pre-Fitted Terminal Blocks

Readily assembled and marked terminal blocks are available as a standard feature for smaller crosssection ranges. Installation times can be reduced by simply slotting on complete blocks. The rating data depend on the corresponding terminal type.

• Tolerances for butt mounting must be heeded in project planning. A butt mounting tolerance of +0.1 mm must be expected for each terminal.
• In terminal blocks marked 1 to 9, the 10th terminal is free for decade marking.
• Terminal blocks WDU 70/95 and WDU 120/150 for direct mounting only. For direct mounting without the mounting rail please take notice of the drilling plan. Fixing with screw M6x16.
