 P-Series |
P-Series: Push-In Connection Technology
- The P-Series is Weidmüller's new generation of modular terminals distinguished by concise yet uniquely flexible
portfolio. The cornerstones of this concept is the "Push In" connection technology which enable a reduction in the terminal
variants whilst providing incredible cost savings. What this means is that the three terminal types PDU 2.5/4, PDU 6/10 and
PDU 16 can provide you with rational wiring solutions up to 16 mm2. With a width of 5.1 mm, the PDU 2.5/4 and PDL 4 types
are the same size as an old 2.5 mm2 terminal, but are rated at 32 A. The data of the other terminals in the range is equally
impressive: PDU 6/10 - 8.1 mm and 57 A; PDU 16 - 12 mm and 76 A.

 I-Series |
I-Series: IDC Connection Technology
- IDC stands for Insulation Displacement Connection. Innovative, more effective, offering greater cost-savings and
maximum contact reliability. The IDC technology results in minimum work during installation but still guarantees
reliable contact. All standardized PVC-insulated conductors with cross-sections between 0.21 and 1.5 mm2 (0.5 and 2.5 mm2)
are suitable for this type of connection. If it is not possible to connect a certain type of conductor, the Weidmüller hybrid
terminals, could offer the best solution. These terminals have an IDC on one side and either a screw or tension clamp
connection on the other.
|
 Z-Series |
Z-Series: Tension Clamp Connection Technology
- Modular terminals with tension clamp connections - the Z-Series - were specially designed to meet customers'
requirements: compact size, generous marking surfaces, integral test point, cross-connection options within the
Z-Series and to other Weidmüller modular terminals. The Z-Series terminals have a wide clamping range and can
accommodate one or two cross-connection channels. The plug-in standard cross-connections enable potentials to be
distributed over any number of terminals.
|
 W-Series |
W-Series: Clamping Yoke Screw Connection
- The W-Series offers solutions for conductor cross-sections from 0.06 to 300 mm2 and for all common electrical
functions. Another advantage is the choice of plug-in (ZQV) or screw-in (WQV) cross-connections within one modular
terminal. It provides considerable time savings compared to all other screw terminals on the market. Thanks to the
patented design of Weidmüller's W-Series screw connection technology it is possible for two conductors of the same
cross-section to be connected in one and the same clamping point without difficulty.
|

|
Fuse With Low Current Status Indication |
WSI Fuse Terminals With Low Current Status Indication
- Weidmuller offers versions of the WSI fuse terminals with low current blown fuse indication (BFI). The BFI circuit
is located in parallel with the fuse so that a current goes through the indicator only when the fuse blows. As this
current is an unwanted off-state leakage current it is important that the level be kept to an absolute minimum.
Weidmuller's BFI circuits draw no more than 500µA - not enough to pose a safety hazard or falsely energize PLC or DCS
digital inputs.
