The new, compact OMNIMATE Signal LMF PCB terminal from Weidmüller is launched on the market with an innovative PUSH IN connection system. The LMF PCB terminal responds to current trends in the world of industrial devices, requiring accurate power supply connection systems. The LMF PCB terminal easily overcomes other challenges including: a voltage supply of 250 V, high electrical safety for the insulation material and, depending on application, different cable wiring access.
Thanks to the time-saving PUSH IN connection system, an integrated test point and 90° and 180° conductor outputs, Weidmüller's OMNIMATE Signal LMF has many possible uses. The LMF PCB terminals allow wire cross-sections of between 0.12 mm2 and 2.5 mm² (AWG 26 to AWG 12) to be connected. The Wemid insulation material used with OMNIMATE Signal LMF is suited to use up to a continuous usage temperature of 120°C. The LMF PCB terminal therefore meets all the stringent design requirements of industrial device connections.

The integrated test point allows users to safely access potential during service work, which simplifies maintenance and improves ease of use. The PUSH IN system, Weidmüller's fast, time-saving and secure conductor connection, ensures reliable contact with the connecting line. Conductors with ferrules and single-stranded conductors can be plugged in directly.
In its LMFS variant, the LMF PCB terminal is also available without the "pusher" actuation element. Users can thereby choose whether to operate the conductor connection with or without a pusher. The terminal unit is opened by pressing the pusher, a safe and very easy opening method. The terminal unit on the LMFS variant without a pusher is opened with a screwdriver.
The LMF PCB terminals enable users to remain flexible: conductor outputs from above (180°) or the side (90°) allow for designs with different wiring direction configurations. Two solder pins per pole ensure a high current-carrying capacity and a stable seat for the terminal unit on the PCB. There is no need for additional fastening elements. The LMF PCB terminals are available with 5.0-mm and 5.08-mm grid dimensions and as 2 to 24-pole versions.
The LMF PCB terminals are produced from Wemid insulating material. As well as meeting high environmental standards, the WEMID insulating material provides maximum availability. With a continuous usage temperature of 120°C, the standard value of PA (100°C) is exceeded by 20 K.
The rated voltages (according to IEC 60664-1 / 04.07) of the LMF are 250 V/ 4 kV/ 3 (classification III/3), 320 V/ 4 Kv/ 3 (classification III/3), 400 V/ 4 Kv/ 2 (classification II/2). The rated current of max. 24 amps up to an ambient temperature of 40°C is limited by the maximum permissible loading of the conductor according to IEC 60947-7-1.
